A few things:
1) Love everything about the pattern - very easy to follow. Nice that you work the entire back and 2 fronts in one big thing. “Top Down” pattern as they say. No sewing!!! Well, you only have to sew the buttons on and weave in the yarn ends - but there are NO SEAMS. And you just crochet the sleeves right on.
2) The yarn, Caron Spa, is unbelievably soft, silky and luxurious. The only negative thing is it splits. So you’ll be crocheting and go to take off the loop - and half of the loop will get stuck on the hook (the small F size hook doesn’t help matters). However this is a small price to pay though for such an amazing end product.
3) Sizing. I am always a 36” bust and my gauge for this pattern is right on. However, I chose not to block the finished product. Because of this, it is a tiny bit “clingy.” This is not a bad thing if you like a fitted look, which I do. And if you block it, it will stretch more. However, if you dislike blocking an item like I do, and if your gauge is perfect - then I would suggest considering going up 1 size if you don’t want it to be clingy/fitted (like if you are 36” maybe do the 38”).
4) It took a little bit more time than expected. I usually finish a lacy cardigan like this in 2 days. This one took me 4 days. But it was worth it!
