Tips for Next Time
If I make this sweater again (and that’s highly likely), I would do the steeked portion as a regular steek in a knit stitch rather than as a steek made of two purl stitches. I could not for the life of me find any tutorials online about how to create a steek when the stitches you’re working with are purls and there were not any close-up photos of the steek, pre-cutting, in any of the project pages for this pattern. I winged it a bit and am not overly satisfied with the results of the steek, but at least I’ll know better for next time.

Customizations
I added i-cord belt loops to hold the belt in place. I am also thinking of adding some after thought pockets.

I created my own charts for this, obviously, so that was a huge amount of work.
