Notes

Each lace triangle is knitted in a different pattern. The decrease is -1 stitch on every end of every even row except for every 4th. (I.e. decrease in rows 4, 6, 8, 12, 14, 16, 20, 22…)

They are joined to a garland via chain stitch (crocheted) and then starched and ironed.

Perfect for beginners if you pick simple patterns - the only challenge is the decrease if you do more complicated patterns. Since the single triangles are quickly done even people with little patience or children won’t lose interest, getting lost in a huge project - and several people can even work together on it.

I did it in white (and I’m glad it didn’t turn out like a clothes line of undies) but of course the classic red, blue and white bunting would also look good in a bigger garden.
