I was getting ready packing the car and I was exhausted and tired and thought I need to stop and do my art no matter how busy I am!
This is my Saori umbrella with scraps from my Saori handwoven scrap tote.
The sections are all hand sewn unto the umbrella frame , the original fabric is removed .
I felted balls for the top to hide the hand sewing.
This is not actually for rain, but for sun, do technically it is a parasol .
My plan is to weave a Saori fabric and design and see a Mary Poppins style coat , hat, and nanny carpet bag some day to go wigh my umbrella.
