I would get a lot more done if I didn’t change projects midstream. Kept envisioning these colors as a Sothia, so ripping Stripe Study and starting over. Will be my first shawl for 2013.

Thought it would be interesting to have some photos of pre-blocking, blocking and finished.

I blocked this fairly aggressively because I like the soft, drapey fabric that results.

Used one straight wire down center and extra long flexible wires along ruffle and top edge.

Same mods as my other Sothias. Added some rows to the stripes and a couple of rows to the ruffle.

Of course that Stripe Study is still calling to me. :)
