Swatching for two summer sweaters at once. Will see which one wins the race. Well this is the one that I am working on. But having to put aside for other small baby projects as the baby shower for Kayla comes near. Also finding out Briana was having a boy instead of a girl has thrown my whole summer knitting plan. She had said I didn’t need to make much since I had made so much for the first 2 girls. Now that she’s having a boy….well, that changes everything. So looking at September baby boy patterns that are reminiscent of ‘Gap’, which she says is her preference.

As far as Niche goes. Well the construction is a little strange and I’m still worried that the yarn isn’t right for this top. After my Vodka lemonade disappointment I am worried more about how my stuff will turn out.

After much consideration decided to frog the thing and start over with a much smaller needle. The linen in the yarn seemed to be stretching out of shape as I knitted. So I have started over using size 6 needles. With the eights i was getting 22 st/in over the seed stitch. Getting 20 1/2 with the 6.
Finished and it turned out great. I’ve already worn it a couple of times and it is pretty comfortable.
