I’ve always loved this yarn. The main part is a subtle twist of delicate cloud grey and natural wool colour in a loosely spun single ply. Then there is a boucle silky twist in colours that shade from caramel to strawberry pink and cherry. This is the reason I refer to it as icecream sundae yarn.

The wool is thicker than a bulky and I don’t have 6 mm or 6.5 mm dpns so I’m hoping 5.5mm with the thicker yarn gives a gauge in the right ball park.

Worked 5 cable repeats before crown shaping.

This one needs a pompom. (Mel made the pom pom and has claimed this one).
