Swatch on US 4s is about 25sts/4in, and US 5s is 24sts/4in, pre-blocking. Post-blocking is:24.5st, 32 rows/4 inch on 4s, and 24st and 32 rows/4 inch on 5s.
1/2/14: One sleeve finished! Moving along on this.
1/14/14: About to do the lace edging. I didn’t add any length because I was worried about my yarn supply. I am probably about 2 skeins into my 3 skeins.
1/21/14: Finished yesterday. I was only able to do 4 repeats of the lace edging on the border and on the collar. I had 12 grams of yarn left over, so thought about trying to get another repeat on the collar, but probably wouldn’t have had enough.
I had to go back and redo the sleeves. They might have blocked out narrower, but I wanted a more fitted sleeve. I extended the stockinette portion to 3 inches (about double from the pattern) then decreased 10 stitches before starting the lace in addition to changing to a smaller needle size (to 66 sts). After two repeats of the lace, I decreased another 8 stitches (to 58 sts). After the fifth repeat of lace, I decreased another 4 or 6 stitches a row or two before the bindoff.
Love this so much! Sport weight sweaters are the perfect weight!
