I’m starting a simple stockinette sock that I can take with me everywhere. I want to be able to knit a sock that doesn’t require me to keep a pattern or a notebook with me at all times. The sock should be knit on one size of needles as well. I’m starting this sock with 68 stitches. My ultimate goal is to create a set of these simple socks that I can make anytime anywhere.

2013-10-21: Cast on 68 stitches using German Twisted Cast on. Knit 11 rows 1x1 twisted rib for the cuff.

2013-12-07: Complete left leg at 6”.

2013-12-22: Complete heel flap & turn. Complete gusset pickup.

2013-12-28: Complete gusset.

2013-12-30: Complete foot & toe. Cast on second sock.

2013-12-31: Complete 2nd sock cuff.

2014-01-16: Complete 2nd sock leg.

2014-01-17: Complete 2nd sock gusset. Complete foot & toe. Blocking….
