Notes

October 11, 2012-Blocked it today. Final measurements are 55x122. I could have blocked it out bigger, but it was unnecessary. I can’t believe this is finally done!!!!

Final stitch count:180x39x18= 126,360
112x((20x18)+51)=46,032
Total=172,392 stitches

September 1st, 2012-DONE KNITTING!!!!! Now to find a place to block it. I can’t believe this is FINALLY done!!!!!

August 11th, 2011-I turned the second border corner! I guess I am halfway done with the border now. I think I might still make it be October!

May 29th, 2011- I turned my first border corner! Only three more to go! So…only like 72 more repeats. That’s about 1296 more rows. Ouch.

April 2nd, 2011- Graduate school does not help this tablecloth at all. Over Spring Break I got to see the table that this cloth will one day cover. I hope it looks nice on it. I just so happened to pick colors that would look great in her dining room!
I’ve been working on the border for quite a while on and off now. I’ve got like 13 reps. done or something. Ugh. NOT.EVEN.CLOSE.

January 20th, 2011-I got the new yarn for the border. It looks fantastic! Only 52,000 stitches left to go. (Not an exaggeration.)

December 6th, Finished the body of the tablecloth! Now just the border left. I had to order a different color of yarn because I ran out. This sucker’s got a pound of yarn in it!

March 20th 2010- Just cast this on last night. I’m almost done with one pattern repeat. This shan’t be too bad other than the fact that I had to cast on 180 sts to make it to size. This will hopefully fit my sister’s gigantic 45x105 table and then some. This will be a gift for her wedding.

Yarn is great, other than knots. Those are not fun with lace. I bought two cones of this yarn. Hopefully I will have enough!
