I love testing for Chantal. Every design is a home run, and this one is no different. (Do I say this about all of her patterns? Yes. Do I mean it every time? Also yes. She is a design queen.)

While I have yet to get my hands on Chainette, this pattern works up like a dream in Wool Ease! This yarn was originally slated for a sweater for my husband, but I wasn’t happy with my gauge swatches. So then when Chantal put out a testing call, how could I refuse?

Things I love about this pattern:

• It’s such a quick knit! I had to frog a day’s worth of work because I missed a YO, and I still finished it (including weaving in ends!) in under two weeks.
• It is so dang classy! The eyelets look so chic!
• The fit is so cozy! It is a little bit oversized in the comfiest way. It’s perfect for wrapping yourself up in a soft yarn hug.
• It is the best knit for Knitflixing! I’m a big fan of simple, “mindless” knits, and this pattern has been with me through the latest season of Outlander and quite a few episodes of The Crown as well as the podcast Nice White Parents!
• The length of the cardi is perfect! It hits a few inches below my hips.

I have worn this almost every day since finishing it because it goes with everything! This cardi is definitely one of my all-time favorites.
