Still long until next Christmas, but all in all we want to donate 250 pairs of socks, so you can’t start early enough…

1st Saturday: the heel is started.

2nd Saturday: experimenting with a bit of pattern of lifted stitches on the leg part. (Answer is: no, won’t do that again, it’s not interesting.)

3rd Saturday: Toe of the second sock is done.

4th Saturday: thanks to blocked tracks the regional train did not go and I had to take the tram between Bonn and Cologne… lots of knitting time and the leg part of the second sock is more than halfway done.
