1/11/14 - Finally done. Once I got back to them they went fast. One BO is tighter than the other; maybe I shouldn’t leave almost 6 months between mitts…

Trying these again on larger needles (ya know, following the directions and whatnot… ;) ).

This cast-on is annoying. I tried it a few times on the first pair and have now tried it three times on this pair. I think Ysolda’s has finally worked (see her YouTube: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=SrOoX-pBwts&desktop_uri=...), though the ribbing is backwards (p1, k1 rather than the other way) but that’s minor and I think I can rearrange the stitches like she shows for the 2x2 ribbing…
