Notes

Using the notes/mods from NorthRose for how to do the buttonholes and up to the shoulders and including the sleeves: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/northrose/garter-stitch-b...

Using the original directions for edging the neck.

Using a really pretty light blue button to help pull out the blue in the yarn. I bought smaller ones for the booties I’m going to make later. :)

2/16 - Because of the stitch count difference between the beginning and the separated parts, the stripes are much wider in the top. I wasn’t sure about it at first, but I really like it now. It gives a nice separation between the top and bottom, sort of like you see on little girls clothes anyhow. :) I’m onto the sleeves now and I’m getting pretty bad ladders doing them in the round… I think I can get them out afterwards though. Let’s hope…

2/26 - Finished yesterday. The arms still have the ladders, I couldn’t get them out, but otherwise I’m really happy with it. :) The third photo is how I did the ties for the inside. I just sewed little braided bits of yarn to the inside and to the left flap.
