Took some updated photos about 5 years after finishing this. I’m disappointed in myself for having no projects notes from when I made this originally.

I know that I knit the body a few inches longer than called for because I don’t typically like the cropped look, but I don’t know how much longer I made the body. Looking back, I wish I had done 2 more inches on top of what I added originally. I’d say this has lost about 1 inch in length after 5 years of washings (delicate cycle in the machine) and I’d really like to have it just a bit longer now. I know it probably wouldn’t have shrunk if I’d hand washed it every time, but that’s just not me. The swatch stood up to a trip through without any change, but I didn’t wash it for 5 years to see how it would stand up over time…

It’s a nice transition weather layer and I still love the subtle cable detail at the side.

I would definitely use the Rowan Panama again for a summer/fall top, but on a bit more relaxed fit pattern and keeping in mind the inch of length I lost here.
