Notes

I used duplicate stitch to add the yellow center of the flower. No way was I going to carry a third color just to do 4-8 stitches in a round.

I used about 10 yard (3 good arm-lengths) to do the duplicate stitch. I ran the yarn along the inside of the hat traveling to each area that needed duplicate stitch. Much better than weaving in all those ends.

Took some updated photos about 3 years after the first batch.

This is probably my favorite hat. I love the yarn, its soft and warm and the colors are so beautiful. The pattern looks really good. Even the little pompom I put on the back has held up super well. I have reblocked it smaller a few times because it stretched from being worn so much. If I made another one, I would probably go down a needle size to see if it would stretch any less.
