Also used about half a ball of Bumblebirch Quill in color Blackberry for the frill of the helmet and the top half of the cape. (Left over from my Gray Rose) I wanted a purple frill and decided on a whim to start the cape and crochet until it ran out then finish with the yellow I originally planned. I like the color block effect.

Brown yarn used on the sandal uppers was leftover MadelineTosh Tosh Sock in color Whiskey Barrel that I held double. I’ve been holding on to it from my Color Craving. It’s a gorgeous rich brown.

This was a completely from-stash project.

Pattern was easy enough to follow but has kind of a busy layout. There are several helpful photos and diagrams that clarify ambiguities making it achievable for an adventurous beginner.
