Notes

This is a redo of the Andrew’s Sweater that I had to frog because somehow the size 36 that I was knitting turned into a size 43. Hopping this will work out better… Itching to cast on!

Wow, I hadn’t realized that I haven’t written anything about this since Ravelympics. I got the body up the the under arm and part of one sleeve finished way back in August then stopped knitting on it for quite a while-only doing one or two rows here and there. Finally I decided that I really needed to get this off my needles, so I told myself that I couldn’t buy any more yarn until I had finished this and my Swallowtail. I made the smallest size the pattern had which was supposed to be a 33” chest. It was about 25” before blocking and 40” after blocking… Cables are stretchy.

I converted the pattern to be knit in the round so I had to do a tiny steek for the neck. I tried the crochet method of securing the steek, we’ll see how well it holds. I’m not too worried since it’s Cascade 220 which is pretty sticky.
