I could NOT get gauge. I tried going down two needle sizes and I still couldn’t get that tight of a stitch count. I didn’t want to make bullet proof fabric, so I did some math, used the recommended need size and knit a smaller size than I would normally wear. I followed the instructions for the 36.25” chest, but my finished sweater is 41.“

I only needed to crack into my 9th skein for a few yarns to finish seaming. If I had been more sparing with my scraps I may have just made it. Luckily I had bought 12 skeins so it wasn’t an issue, but watch your yardage.

I’m worried that the edges will roll with wear. The rolled a bunch while knitting. I’ve blocked them flat, but I’m curious to see if they go back to rolling after it’s been worn a few hours.

EDIT: After wearing, The edge does curl up a tiny bit. You can see in many of the photos they way that it turns up at the bottom.
