This is February sock of the month--started late.. and aside from the 3 tiered edge, it will be a plain old generic sock.

Little bits of left over Kroy sock yarn and a latvian twist create a contrasting edge, and make the sock just a step up from generic. Some more Kroy, in a not perfectly color fast red was added at the heel. (it will fade in a few washing to a shade closer to the cherry stripe.)
