These socks have an I-cord cast on edge, followed by an acorn lace pattern on front.

the Heels and toes are worked in the same semi solid orange (left over custom dyed yarn) as the cast on--also Paton’s Kroy--(it was originally a solid yellow--mellow yellow was the color way name, IIRC)

Mast is a word for all the acorns, nuts and other edibles found on the forest floor.

The back of the sock is trimmed with an oak leave, and free swinging 3D acorn.. I am loving them!
