birthday sweater! i made this handspun for her, so clearly it needed to become a sweater for her first birthday.

i had to totally redo the stitch counts to make this in bulky (pattern is in fingering), and made an 18 month - 24 month hybrid. but it grew like crazy when i washed it, so now it seems more like a 2T-3T. but that’s cool - if you make your baby a sweater out of handspun, you want them to be able to wear it a long time.

um, also, i love that orange stripe at her hips so so much.
