I am obsessed with this giant fair isle motif. This sweater is amazing.

Okay, so some notes after a few wearings!

I shortened the sleeves significantly. I really hate sweater sleeves that reach my wrists and am happy with my 7/8th sleeves even though it’s kind of silly with a bulky sweater.

The pattern calls for 6” of positive ease, my version has about .5” of ease. I am just not a fan of oversized sweaters. That may account for some of my fit issues? I find that I consistently get a bump a few inches under the neckline as I’m wearing this sweater - it’s visible in picture #4 above. I also could do with a few more stitches in the sleeves - they’re a bit tighter than I’d prefer.

This yarn is wonderful. It’s woolly - my hands were always so moisturized after knitting with it from all the lanolin left in the fleece. It will clearly hold up well to wear - I anticipate very few pills.
