I’ve less yarn so it’ll be a wee shorter - i’ve caked it so i can work from both ends and ensure an even balance before i graft tog at the middle.

Edging is very neatly designed &fun to do then onto a large number of repeats of main pattern. I thought this would be boring but there’s just enough in it to keep your mind focussed and they zip along. Nearly put a few st markers in to remid myself not to just purl straight across every WS row but this turned out to be easily remembered after a few repeats. More bothersome was the extra yo’s on R5 of main pattern which i just kept leaving out and having to fudge in 2 rows later. Prob saved me yarn in the end though!

Weighed after rep 19 & have 51g knitted 52g left ( from 100g, go figure). Starting with the other end of the yarn to see if i can in fact match the length on the other side.

Unblocked it’s 72cm x 16cm for half & very elastic so will prob come close to 1m80 after blocking.

20-09-2012 I should never have put this down but was talked into helping out on a white work sampler over the weekend and now have been distracted by other knits. Need some motivation to finish it as it’s really quick & easy!

04-11-12 Worked 19 reps of 2nd half in just one lazy sunday afternoon. Still have a fair bit if yarn left so might manage another rep each side before grafting. Was able to memorise the pattern without any missed yo’s or knitting the purls on the WS as i did in the 1st half.

Failed to manage another rep each side by 4 rows! Bloacked to 2m10 in the end though.
