I really enjoyed knitting these socks. The pattern is very clear and fun to work up. I couldn’t remember the whole sequence because it repeats over 16 rows, but it was easy to memorise each row as I came to it, so while it wasn’t a mindless knit, it wasn’t too taxing to knit while watching the telly.

I went down a needle size because I always have to do that with socks, and that gave me a really good fit.
