Notes

I’ve named this pretty shrug Sweet Shop because of the Liberty fabric - Scrumptious - I used for Angélique’s tunic. It is covered with a myriad of vintage sweets. Fabulous!

Each and every pattern created by Dani Sunshine is a treat to knit and fabulous to wear. Angélique loves this new knit of hers as much as I do. She chose the colour - I never imagined in a million years she would opt for pink - and she just wanted to slip it on immediately.

All of Dani’s patterns are crystal clear to read; spoonfeeding in the best possible way. Ice cream Sundae is NEVER tedious: the scalloped edge, short rows, picking up stitches… and is very quick to knit.

My guage was spot on. I was a little concerned by a slight puckering of the contrasting colour edging (picked up stitches) but, as suggested in the pattern, this resolved itself after wet blocking and pinning.

A sweet knitting experience :-)
