This is some beautiful handspun yarn my niece gave me!

CO 97 sts with Twisted German cast-on
Join in the round: slip stitch (96 sts)
K2 P1

After 8 inches, start reducing as follows:
Divide into four sections (24 sts each). I put them on four separate DPNs, but you can just use markers. In each section (so four times for each round)

1. SSK, knit in pattern to last two sts, K2tog
2. knit in pattern

After 19 times, do another round 1, break yarn, and run through remaining 8 sts.
(Maybe could have stopped round 2 after 17 times and finished with three round 1s in a row.)
