Notes

Gauge is 7dc = 2’’ for a hand 7.5’’ around the knuckles. My hand is a little bit smaller so unless the gauge swatch comes out enormous I shouldn’t have a problem.

2nd photo: Just finished Row 8. So far the pattern is working up really well, only had to frog an entire row twice. This is my first time with cables, definitely a bit of a learning curve, and a typo in the owl cross did not help. The owl motif is showing up really well in this yarn and the cuff fits my hand nicely.

3rd photo: First mitt is done and fits me perfectly. Thinking about adding half-fingers or something.

4th photo: Second mitt is about 1/2 done, shown next to the first mitt for comparison. My hand got a little sweaty but they will be perfect for October. Liking the idea of half-fingers more and more.

5th photo: Almost done, just need to weave in the ends on the 2nd glove. Went ahead and added half-fingers and they fit quite nicely.
