Decided to do the offset with every repeat for maximum waviness

Finished three repeats of the seaweed lace, doing all 16 rows each time. (There have been some Stitch Errors, but I think they’re all fixed now.) Moving on to fishtail lace at this point!

Hibernated for almost a year while I mused on why I was so blocked on this piece. Today, frogged back to start, and I’m going to reknit it quickly as a gift.

Completed re-knitting; did 3 repeats of seaweed (16 rows each time) and 3 repeats of fishtail, binding off on WS instead of last rest row with (k, k, k2tog k, pass 2 from R to L, k2tog). Washed w/kookaburra, blocked within an inch of its life. 46 g of yarn left in the ball.

Once blocked, this size models just about perfectly for a shoulder-covering shawlette or a hair wrap that would nicely frame the head! I’m almost sad that this is just over half the ball of yarn, as I’m tempted to want one for myself, but alas. I don’t think I could quite pull it off with the remainder, at least not to these exact specifications.
