Looooooooove this bag!

I used Knit Picks Palette instead of the recommended WotA. When I used this pattern earlier this year to make a bag for my Mom, I used a mixture of WotA and Palette and MUCH preferred the way Palette felted. I think it’s just a personal preference, though. WotA tends to felt stiffer and draw up a bit more, whereas Palette is a little more delicate. The result was a kind of loose, casually-felted tote bag, instead of a more structured purse, which is exactly what I wanted.

I did hold the yarn double on the bottom because I was worried about it not being strong enough, but I probably wouldn’t do that again. The bottom didn’t really felt and I couldn’t leave it in any longer for fear of the ruffles shrinking into wobbly strips.
