The texel wool is surprisingly nice to knit with, despite the fact that this breed of sheep is so ugly! It’s not real soft, but it’s pretty and warm, with a nice feel to it. I love making hats with the mock cable brim and just stockinette to the top, then adding a little 1 inch I-cord tip to the top, especially for children.
