Notes

This dinosaur needs an orthodontist STAT!

So many tiny fiddly bits, but so much fun to make! I found that blocking all the bits first made them much easier to sew together.

I modified the spine from the way it was written in the pattern, because it was just weird, and not like the picture at all. I knit a circle and then simply folded it in half, it gave me a much better size and shape, and using a variegated yarn meant that I didn’t have to fuss with multiple colours. Otherwise, I pretty much knit this exact to pattern.

I spent a fair bit of time trying to sculpt the eyebrows, it was far too easy to make this guy look menacing, so in the end I went for ‘slightly surprised’. I would definitely make more dinosaurs from this book, the patterns are well written and easy to follow.
