After a little bit of practice, this is the first piece I made using “color and weave.” I warped with Holst Supersoft AND Schoppel Zauberball, but in finishing the project I realized that the tension differences lead to some buckling in the final fabric. Lesson learned -- I will use the same yarn for warping from here on out…

Still, the piece is beautiful (IMHO) and it will be used for MSD’s Franca 2016 line.
