Notes

20091018- quick. done. he likes it. even better it matches all his winter coats! it covers his ears and he likes it better than the _three_ hats I knitted him last year. le sigh.
20091017- It’s supposed to be freezing and cold at Rhinebeck this year. While most of our winter stuff has made the trek from the apartment to the house, our winter hats have not. Thus super bulky to the rescue. I normally wouldn’t knit this colour combo (of grey & brown) but it’s ok. E says he likes it.

Details:
based on yarn harlot’s an unoriginal hat (for stitch counts)

Fishermen’s wool held double. Sugarloaf single. 1x1 rib until crown decrease, then keep k’s …
seem to be able to knock off the unoriginal hat details by about five rounds due to row height differences. :)
