Eleven repeats knitted for a slightly smaller finished shawl. Discovered a major oopsie while blocking, which explains why the pattern border went a bit wonky toward the end. Oh well. Only other knitters would notice and it definitely makes it unique. ;)
2011-08-10, 9:30pm- done!!!!
2011-08-10- can i sneak in the finishing of this tonight?
2011-08-09, 10pm- finished 11 repeats, unblocked point to end seems as deep as I want for a shawlette. Knit first half of short rows for ending chart C. Little confused about reverse i-cord bindoff written instructions but will probably get it once I set the needles to it.
20101215, 7pm- been working on off and on, chart B, 7th repeat completed.
20101023, pm- picked up again, chart b, 3rd repeat completed
20100607, am- Chart b.1.7 finished. :)
20100603, am- finally finished chart A! knitted chart b.1.1 knitted. on right half was off by one at the center but fudged it. the stitches line up and i don’t think it looks too bad. will look more closely at it after some coffee…
20100602, am- despite attack of the sinuses I knitted rows 42-48 on my morning train. Really nervous about yardage, will probably make this a small little shawlette. current guess is 9 repeats of chart B. I need to get there first!
20100601- lifeline & upgraded this to commuting project. not sure how smart that’ll be but at least there’s a life line.
20100224- completed row 30. it’s easy to read as i knit it, but for some reason, at least for chart A I prefer knitting from the written instructions. This is an odd change from my normal chart chart chart mantra, but I’ll go with it. I’m still a little unsure of the yarn colour choice but I’m in LOVE with this yarn and really need to spoil Sara since she GAVE me this yarn in our now neglected gift war.
20100218- wound yarn & cast on. made it to row20.
20100210- purchased pattern
