20100126- after wearing this practically constantly since i finished it over a month ago… i still love the yarn. i think the way i bound off (with just a small bit super stretchy) is perfect.. ♥
20091218- done. debating if I bound off too tight. i’ve had issues with them popping off my head so i went a tighter than normal route. is it too much? time will tell. having issues getting good pictures due to poor winter lighting. will need to work on. i love this yarn and the pattern. and that for me it was a one skein project!
ok, rebound off the last 3 purl, 7 knit, 3 purl with Jeny's Super Stretchy Bind off is this enough of do I have to do another knit/purl section to give me the slight give i need? wearing hat around the house with ends and a stitch marker trailing to see. can’t wait for fedex to show up with a package and find me dressed like this. ;p
Yes, I did end up doing stretchy bind off for two 7 stitch knit sections and the surrounding purls. fits perfect!

20091202- wish I didn’t have so many things to work on so i’d be further than round 6 right now! And I probably would’ve noticed the missed pfb in rnd 5, I kfb’d instead. Wondering if it’s really going to bother me or not…
20091201- Ok. Was initially going to do this with the yummy Auburn because it matches my autumn coat. And then it was december and I pulled out my winter coat. Which is grey. And my grey hat is -- after 9 years -- starting to show its wear. So this is now with the Silver Grey Heather. Which is very much a Penny colour. Thank you LB for launching a whole collection of colours I LOVE!
