Notes

My sister saw this and said it looks like moss, both the pattern and the colour.

Only one change to the pattern. I find the recommended cast on gets very loose, so instead of casting on in groups of 6 and purling back, I cast on 5 and did a “make 1” in the purl row.

One pattern repeat (as in little section of 11 stitches, not row) takes about 122cm of yarn. Yes, it was frogged back, because I’d dropped the wrong stitch and didn’t realise until I came to a section which had 6 stitches next to one with 4 stitches.

Also in the final row, I didn’t use a crochet hook. Instead I wrapped the yarn round the needle and passed the previous stitch over.
