I think I am a shawl convert.

This was a joy to crochet and it’s a joy to wear. I can dress it up or dress it down or wear it any ol’ way I feel like.

All the while I was crocheting this I kept telling people that it was a shawl, but that I wouldn’t be wearing it “grandma-style.” But now that I’ve tried it on I know I’ll be rocking the grandma-style, at least sometimes.

I steam-blocked this piece, which I’ve never done before. I love how quick and easy it was.

I’m off to make another shawl now.
