Instructions written white on yellow are impossible for me to read at night so had to rewrite them a bit… the chart works well.
Toho beads size 8; bronze lined crystal sb8t369; just large enough to see and add weight but not too large as to overpower the delicate design. The silk content in this yarn supports the beads.
Feb.10th, started knitting and the pattern flows well, easy enough to remember each line.
I am beading the lower third of the pattern only…looks great.
The only other change I have done is the first and last stitch were knit through the back of the loop to prevent the edge from curling.

Notes from designer : re rows 11 and 13.

“While working for Row 11, a stitch of the right side edge is use to make the double decrease stitch, which is the first stitch in the red box. If you are using stitch markers in between all repeats, the markers will be shifted a stitch to the right.

But if you are not using any stitch markers, you can easily spot the middle align stitch you have been working on the previous rows,the stitch that is in between those SSK and K2tog.“

A very nice knit but I had to do some heavy blocking along the top line to get it straight…it still buckles a bit.
Finished size is 64”W x 34”L
This shawl needs to be knit in a yarn with silk content…tussah might be best, as it needs serious tugging to straighten out the top neckline.
