7/17: Bound off! Used 904.3 yards if my skeins all started at 114 grams like they should have. Ended with 10 garter ridges of Kale.

7/16: Started the solid outer section today. I would be done, but I decided to add 2 extra pattern repeats in section 3 for some extra length. I have 18 stripes of C2 rather than 14 called for in the pattern.

6/27: Casting on! Was going to finish my mittens first, but want to get started with this shawl so I can see how it goes. There’s only a thumb left to knit on the mittens, so I will get them finished soon enough! Some have commented about doing YOs so the edge isn’t tight. I’m going to work it as written so it lays better on my shoulders when it’s worn.
