My first attempt didn’t use enough yarn, and I didn’t want to add a ruffle or hood or something like that, so I’m making another one. Good thing I ordered 2 skeins of yarn!

6/17: CO 69 sts; 15-31-15 division. Knit to 65 sts before dividing sleeves out, then continue to increase on back to 69 sts. Work increases on front q6 rows until sleeves divided. Work to 9-9.5” before switching to smaller needles and working ribbing.

6/20: Sweater body (as much as the last skein had left to knit of it anyway. I’m at about 9” with no ribbing yet!) weighs 51 grams. Sweater with 1 sleeve weighs 66 grams. Sweater with 2 sleeves should weigh 81 grams. This sweater will finally meet the requirements!!
Sleeve: PU 5 sts, work 15 rounds then decrease 2 sts q8rows 5 times, work 6 more rounds then work 8 rounds 1x1 ribbing before binding off.

6/21: My guess was right on! The sweater weighed 81 grams after both sleeves were completed. I worked 14 rounds of 1x1 ribbing on the bottom before binding off, starting and finishing with 2 knit stitches. Picked up 1:1 on bottom ribbing and cast on edges, and 3:4 on vertical runs. Plan on working 6-8 rounds before binding off in pattern. Sooo close to finishing!

6/24: finished today after 8 rows opening ribbing before bind off. This one is large enough at 97 grams. Yay!
