Provisional cast on to pick up and sew together with end to make a cowl. This messed things up (or the pattern is wonky) because my stripes are off for the first triangle section.

Hoping to get 3 repeats of the color sequence out of my yarn. Might be a gram short of the sage due to the above-mentioned stripe issue. Each repeat takes about 16.5 grams of each color.

Color 1: Sage
Color 2: Violetta
Color 3: Basil
Color 4: Flax
Color 5: Aizome

Also working German short rows instead of just turning. Easy and it looks much better.

7/26: Finished! Accepted the 4th try at grafting garter to be good enough. The astute among you will see it obviously as I do. But if you looking that closely at my cowl when I’m wearing it, you have issues. It looked like I was playing yarn chicken, but I only play games I know I’ll win.
