8/21 Just wasnt motivated to finish this in this yarn…will attempt again in different yarn and different color.
3/4/2013 Finally picked this up again and starting working on the sleves. Magic looping it because I have since figured that out and used it a couple of times on socks! Shooting to wrap this up in the next couple of days!
5/11 Lies, lies, so many lies. Last night I continued working on the first sleeve using the magic loop method and it fell apart like no ones business. Busted out the US 15 dpns and got to work - small ladders but will fix that going foward. Moving along nicely. Yeah dpns! (Will try magic loop on a future project - like simple socks.)
5/10 This has been hibernating for a while - been wrapping up swaps and getting a schedule down with me and my new dog. Also, I was unsure how I wanted to make the sleeves - magic loop or dpns. I sat down with nodice last night and she taught me how to use the magic loop method. After a number of rows hating the process, I kinda really love it now. Looking forward to pulling this all together! Thanks Jill!!! =D
2/24 Size 15 dpns came in the mail today. Ohhhhhhh yeaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!
2/19 Knitting like a madwoman because I probably won’t get a chance to knit much this weekend (BUSY WEEKEND!). I’ve done the bottom of this bad boy in medium and it seems to fit a tad large so I’m questioning if I should go up to the large sizing for the top. May continue with the medium to avoid it being too big at the top (can we say “life line”).
Small mod for row 25 of chart A - wasn’t sure what was meant by “ssk, slip next st over ssk” at allllll. I did figure that it was some sort of centered decrease. Soooo, instead I slipped two stitches together knitwise, K1, passed the two slipped stitches over the K1 together (page 62 in Debbie Stoller’s Stitch’n Bitch Superstar Knitting - Go beyond the basics). Looks good and got the job done nicely. =)
2/15 This is going to be fun (and super fast) - I can tell! I’m making the body of this sweater in M and then switching over to the L so it to fit over my large ta-ta’s.
