i have a lot of turquoise and teal in my stash, and i want to make something from it. there’s enough to make a ruana, but i am not 100% certain i want that -- i’ve looked at the one in oberle’s folk shawls, but it looks heavy, and that much garter stitch, OMG, yawn.

instead i am considering tunisian entrelac, which i saw first in an interweave crochet magazine in passing. i think it is much nicer than knitted entrelac, but i don’t have decent instructions. playing around a little i mostly figured it out (see pic 1). if i do this at the right gauge, the fabric has nice drape, much more so than one would normally get from tunisian.
