Notes

once i picked the right yarn, this was fun to make. unfortunately i started with a lovely, nubby cotton/rayon mix, but it was way too hard, and actually didn’t look all that great in dcs. i think i’ll use it in a knit piece instead, or in a very open pattern.

so i went to the local yarn store to get a hook for another project, and there this lovely bamboo/wool yarn threw itself into my shopping bag. what can you do? despite much frogging at the start, i love the completed project, and the colours, and i am keeping this one.

didn’t do much pre-planning beyond knowing i wanted it slouchy, with some triangular action. some quick calculation when i came close to the point where the top looked slouchy enough, so i had the right starting number of stitches for the triangles. there are 5 equally spaced triangles between the leaves in the main colour coming down.

my hands lust after making more in this yarn, but i first want to wash it to see how it stands up.
