I’m using some gorgeous handspun kid mohair and polwarth yarn in my Red Delicious Colourway

It took me a while to realise that the placement of the beads is actually the top curving edge of the shawl, I f I had realised, I’d have placed them on the other end of the row and then the cast off row

I started off doing the large size but I am now just carrying on with the lovely repetitive pattern adding in the 3 rows of lace randomly until I feel this curving neck shawl is the size I’d like

Not only do I love the colour of this yarn but the beautiful soft halo from the kid mohair is delicious

I knit loosely so I’m using a 3.75 circular lace needle, the stitches are open enough to feel good and I think they will block out well too
