Planning:
Seed St Collar
Long sleeves
Join to knit in circle after yoke
10/18/11:
CO 83
Work seed st for 3” (collar), ending in RS
(WS) Setup row - k29 in place of k28
Increase following pattern till 257 sts
Front | Sleeve | Back | Sleeve | Front
36 | 56 | 73 | 56 | 36
10/20/11:
Sleeve separation:
(RS) k36, remove marker (rm), k1, transfer 54 sts to scrap yarn, CO 11, k1, rm, k73, rm, k1, transfer 54 sts to scrap yarn, CO 11, k1, rm, k36 (total: 171 sts)
Knit 4 rows (join at end of 4th row) before joining.
Join to knit in round. Join by slipping 1 st purlwise from left to right needle, and pass the last st on right needle over the slipped st, like in Binding off. This helps eliminate the “steps” when knitting in round and create a smooth join. (total 170 sts)
P one round, k one round, p one round, then commence to Cable Pattern.
Cable pattern:
Changed garter to seed st.
Changed cable to Braided Cable
Braided Cable: (over 6 sts)
