I wanted a quick cap for my 20 months old as he had outgrown his Osh’Gosh cap. Initially, I had made the hat with sc but he don’t seem to like it as it made him feel hot instead of keeping his head cool in the sun. With dc, the stitches are not as tight and closed in, and he felt more comfortable wearing it in the heat.

My 2nd daughter kept taking his brother’s cap and forced it on herself, so in the end I made her one too.
Off course, if one girl has it, my eldest requested for one as well ;) Good thing this cap only takes 45 mins to make!
