This is a very well written pattern. The author takes the time to segment each section, and each part of the cardigan (front, L/R sleeve, back). For the not-so-experienced seamless raglan sleeve knitters like myself, the stitch separation of each section really helps me understand how the garment is constructed. I only wish I had tried this pattern before my Pink Stripe Wave Bolero. Then I would have understand the bolero pattern better, and save me a lot of grief from rip-backs, or dropped stitch-markers!

I originally intended to knit this for my eldest but due to neglection of chest measurements on my part, this cardi turn out far too big for my 10 years old. So it ended up as a gift for GB.

My chosen knit option:

• 8 yrs old
• mock mandarin collar
• 1 button loop
• empire waist
• short sleeves
• puff sleeves
• seed st cuff

I skipped the St st repeats on the Bodice section, and proceed straight to Eyelets section.

Finished garment measurements for a chest 28” child:
Circumference = 34”
Length = 18.5”
CO to start of empire waist = 10”
Start of empire waist lace = 8.5”
Sleeve length = 11”
Seed St cuff circumference = 11”
