Marker placement off? Stitch count off? No, it’s not you! This pattern, lovely as it is, it does have shocking lots of errors. Please refer to wzrdreams’ Spicy V-Neck for size 38 corrections. Thanks to these wonderful ladies for their detailed documentation of the pattern, I was able to proceed with this project.

Finished! This is the quickest adult top I’ve made… 6 days! Thanks to the wonderful bulky yarn by Pierrot. I’m not a big fan of bulky yarn as the final result, quick as it may be, tends to be less “refine” compared to fingering or light yarn. But!… Ami Cotton Bulky may change my mind about bulky knits as my pullover came out surprisingly soft and has excellent drape. Best part is, I can get away without blocking this top! Yoohoo! ^_^
As for the pattern, well, it’s not difficult, but was made difficult by all the errors. Once I started understanding the pattern repetition, it was smooth sailing from there.
Notes to future-self:
-
Like the pullover as a sleeveless as well. To do sleeveless: 1) BO (picot BO will look good) during sleeve and body separation or 2) regular BO, and add crochet edging
-
There’s no CO for sleeve hole.

After contemplating for 2 year, finally frogged this garment as I can’t stand those uneven yo. Add my extremely uneven tension on a very unforgiving 100% cotton, it’s just not pleasing to my eyes.
Good news is, this Pierrot Ami Bulky still look as good as new after I frogged. And I’ve worn it several times, washed it in machine & dryer. Yep, in machine & dryer, even though it’s a hand wash yarn :p It shrunk a bit. So the next project I take on with this yarn, I should make it larger.
